Evyn is currently working as the on-air consumer reporter for CBS Newspath in New York City, producing national content for over 200 affiliate stations. Evyn is not new to the CBS News family— she began her career at the CBS National Desk in NY and later worked for the CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell in D.C.

Prior to here current role at CBS, Evyn spent two years as an on-air reporter for WTVT FOX13 Tampa Bay, covering local and regional stories in the 11th largest media market in the US, including historic hurricanes, a housing and insurance crisis, and statewide elections.

Before her time in Tampa, Evyn spent two years serving as a DC-based correspondent for NewsNation, covering the White House, Capitol Hill and foreign relations. She also worked for the Fox Business Network as a field producer for D.C.-based reporters on Capitol Hill and at the White House. 

Before these bigger newsrooms, Evyn was an on-air reporter and anchor in Florida — covering 17 central Florida counties for WUFT-TV 5, the local PBS affiliate, and WCJB 20, an ABC affiliate.  While reporting in central Florida, she earned a Masters degree in Digital Media at the University of Florida
